Creative writing for wellbeing helps us to unlock our creativity, and reflect on our inner and outer landscapes.
Through writing we can make sense of our thoughts, feelings and experiences and discover yet more questions about life’s mysteries. In one or more sessions you will be offered a variety of short free writing exercises depending on the theme of your retreat. You may reflect on the stepping-stones in your life story, life phases and transitions, or explore aspects of your work, relationships or family life. You may want to practice creative reflective writing about your treatments and experiences during the retreat, or create fictional stories, explore nature writing, discover your unique writing voice or simply follow the words and creativity and see where they lead you. Trusting the pen on the page is like a deep listening process; images, insights and ideas emerge. It is soul nourishing and can be full of wonder.
