Oil Dispersion Bath Therapy
WORKSHOPS
Soak in an oil dispersion bath of biodynamic rose in olive oil.
With gentle rhythmical strokes two brushes are moved up the limbs and across the torso. The oil dispersion baths offer a gentle reminder of one’s periphery and totality. They help to harmonise breathing and warmth, then in deep rest the digestion of one’s inner work and reflection is supported.
Rudolf Steiner gave numerous indications for the application of baths including acute and chronic processes. Many Australian’s are unfamiliar with oil dispersion baths, whereas they are funded by the private healthcare system in Germany and surrounding countries and exist within oncology units, dementia care homes, special needs schools and private practices.
Your needs are discussed prior to the bath and because of the sensitive nature of bath therapy a patient and practitioner agreement is provided prior to commencing any treatment. A bath may be received daily or once only on retreat.
