Communing with Nature

CARE AND RENEWAL | WORKSHOPS

Just as, when you look into the eyes of another human being you get a glimpse of their soul… so also when you look deeply into the heart of a flower you get a glimpse into the soul of the earth.

– Rudolf Steiner

Communing with nature builds, fosters and inspires our capacity for wonder and reverence, and may lead us to experience the wisdom filled harmony and health giving forces that are inherent in the natural world.

By cultivating inner stillness and deep listening, we allow the world to speak, we are brought into a growing relationship through entering into a conversation with the living world.

This may take the form of walking, contemplation, and observation. It may also encompass certain natural forms and plants, and the expressions of these through artistic means such as drawing, journalling, words, poetry, using charcoal, pastels, or perhaps materials of the landscape.
